The aluminium 105 brake calipers are CNC-machined from two pieces and share technology with the top-tier Ultegra and Dura-Ace groupsets. With the increased brake pad clearance (also 10% more), they are better protected against rubbing caused by wheel wobble or heat deformation. At the same time, braking force is easier to modulate, giving you more confidence and control – even on long descents.

Shimano Shadow RD
The 12-speed rear derailleur uses Shimano’s Shadow RD technology, positioning the derailleur neatly under the cassette to protect vulnerable parts from damage during transport or a crash. Fewer chances of technical issues mean more riding enjoyment and less maintenance.

Hyperglide Cassette
The Hyperglide 12-speed cassettes are designed for both comfort and efficiency.
